Gerald Genta, brilliant designer, propels Audemars Piguet to the rank of myth by drawing in 1972 the famous Royal Oak, inspired by the Royal Navy's warships and divers.

A singular design, rich in unusual personality for the time that has surprised the general public, but has offered a career worthy of the greatest stars.

A unique character, a masterful pencil stroke.

It is a barrel box surmounted by an octagonal bezel with visible screws. It was far from usual.

It is today one of the most sought after vintage watches, Audemars Piguet still manufactures it today, it is its spearhead and the most requested model of the manufacture.

The proposed model is ref 14790, in gold and steel.

A barrel casing of 36 mm in diameter.

A gray guilloché mouse dial, index stick and straight hands, discreet date at 3 o'clock by window.

The integrated bracelet called "à chute" is also made of gold and steel.

The movement is mechanical with automatic winding.

The Royal Oak has always led Audemars Piguet to the top of his game.

A 70s style chic and elegant model with sporty connotation.
