The company Cyma was founded in 1862 by Frederick Sandoz.
In 1881, nearly 150 watches come out every day from the workshops.
In 1910 Cyma obtains the first prize of the Universal Exhibition of Brussels, the brand then produces 2500 movements per day.
In 1915 the firm manufactures shockproof movements and waterproof watches.
In 1938, around 2,000 employees manufactured 4000 watches per day on 2200 machines.
The 1940s catalogs also feature wrist chronographs equipped with Valjoux calibres.
The proposed model is a sublime chronograph around 1930.
