Patek met a certain Adrien Philippe at the 1844 Universal Exhibition in Paris. He was the inventor of an extraordinary pocket watch that was particularly flat and keyless, with a crown for setting the time and winding the watch.

Antoine Norbert de Patek, Adrien Philippe and Vincent Gostowski founded Patek And Co. in Geneva.

In 1851, the three men changed the company name to Patek Philippe And Co.

The brand was taken over by the Stern family in 1932 and is still owned by them.

Patek Philippe specializes in high-quality watches.

The firm is one of the few to have archived the contact details of all its customers since the beginning of its activity.

The model presented here is a sublime pocket watch circa 1920.

A very Art-deco look.

It is a platinum round case.

Two-tone guilloched cream dial.

Applied Roman numerals and hour-markers.

Breguet hands and second hand at 6.

Hand-wound mechanical movement.

This is a superb execution of a gusset watch made by the greatest Genevan house of all time.

Patek Philippe knows how to thrill us with its exceptional achievements.
