In 1938, to meet the demand of two sailing merchants, Rodriguez and Teixeira, IWC creates a large watch with the precision of marine chronometers.
The two Portuguese are very satisfied with this model which upsets the watchmaking codes by that time.
In 1993, IWC makes a watch called Portuguese, a chic and elegant watch easily recognizable with its vertical counters.
A star model of the brand which declines it in different versions.
A perfectly realized design, sleek with soft curves, all the attributes of a historical and mythical watch.
The proposed 2012 model is in perfect condition. It is a round stainless steel case of 41mm diameter. Very nice black dial with applied arabic numerals. Leaf hands. 2 counters chronograph with minute totalizer at 12 and permanent second hand at 6. Self-winding mechanical movement.
An atypical watch and a timeless timepiece. It is proposed with its original box and papers.
