The original intention of the plant founded in 1858 by Charles Yvan and Hippolyte Robert in Villeret is quickly found: to mount movements from the Fontainemelon (FHF) draft manufacture.

In 1878, Charles and Georges Robert take up the torch of the generation with the arrival in 1885 of Yvan Robert.

The trio of directors is in full force, and at the turn of the century, the Robert brothers begin to manufacture calibres manufactured for pocket watches.

The name Minerva (“Minerve” in French) comes from the goddess of craftsmen of arts and sciences and made its first appearance on the dials in 1923.

The beautiful model proposed around 1940 is exceptional.

A round case made of single-pusher steel.

A sublime black dial with luminescent painted Arabic numerals.

Luminescent skeleton hands with extraordinary caramel patina.

Chronograph two counters with minutes totalizer at 3 o’clock and permanent second hand at 9 o’clock.

mechanical movement with manual winding.

This rare piece is unusual, unique in its kind. It represents for many collectors the interest of wearing vintage watches.
