First watch to display the day of the week in full text, the Day-Date model entered the history of Swiss watchmaking, first launched in 1956, and is both classic and innovative.

This iconic watch quickly made it very popular. It belongs to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual range. From 2008, the Day-Date is replaced by the Day-Date 2, a more contemporary watch with a sober and elegant design like its predecessors. The Day-Date model is easily recognizable thanks to its two windows, one circular at 12 for the day, and the other by a classic window for the date at 3. The case is equipped with a fluted or smooth bezel and is water-resistant to 100 m. The Day-Date comes in several versions but always in gold or platinum, no stainless steel for this watch of presidents, artists and men of influence.
