The Rolex GMT-Master is a watch dedicated to the pilots and flight crew of Pan American, the largest airline at the time. Thanks to an additional arrow hand and a 24-hour bezel, it allows you to read a second time zone. Very useful, it was quickly adopted by intercontinental travelers. Easily recognizable by its bicolor bezel, it is one of the most appreciated and sought-after models by collectors. The model presented here is from 199, also called “Pepsi”. It is a round stainless steel case of 40 mm diameter, with blue and red rotating bezel. A black dial with circled round indexes and tritium hands. The Twinlock crown and its screwed case back ensure it is water-resistant to 100 m. Self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 3185, chronometer certified .
