As you know, it is at the foot of the slopes of Courchevel that Romain Rea has decided to take up his winter quarters. At the heart of Savoie in the Three Valleys area, the famous ski resort welcomes all the great leading luxury house. Romain Rea is proud to add this prestigious list.
BETWEEN VINTAGE PIECES AND MODERN ESSENTIALS
As in all our boutiques, the pieces we present are a beautiful illustration of the watchmaking history, from vintage collector watches to more recent models. For example, from the Patek Philippe manufacture, we propose a yellow gold “Manta Ray”, one of the rarest post-war watch from the famous Geneva-based brand founded in 1839. Elegant and precursory in shape, it was reintroduced about 40 years later, in the 2000s, when the manufacture launched the reference 5100. More modern, we have the latest version of the Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar in white gold “Full Set”, from 2019.
Rolex stands out with several Daytona models, including the very fine ref. 6265 from 1983, with its iconic stainless steel bezel. Including also our GMT Master ref. 6542, the very first reference of the Rolex GMT Master, launched in 1954: a true legend in the history of the brand with the crown! More recent model, we can also offer you a ref. 1675 from 1964, called “pointed guard” with a superb gilt dial.
You will also be able to admire a beautiful sample of our collection of vintage chronographs such as a Compur from Universal Genève, a Longines 13 ZN and a Rolex Antimagnetic
BEYOND WATCHES
Because watches go hand in hand with it, we have decided to offer a very special place to jewellery in this boutique. It is a succession of sets signed by Bulgari, Harry Winston, Van Cleef or Cartier. A small glimpse of the know-how of these great jewellery brands: two small Boucheron brooches, from the late 1950s, set with diamonds with the flower in translucent enamel.
Finally, we decided to plunge into the world of fashion by exhibiting beautiful handbags from the greatest workshops such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and especially Hermès.
