Audemars Piguet, founded in 1875 by Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet, is a Swiss watch manufacturer based in Le Brassus in the Vallée de Joux.
Jasmine Audemars, great-grand daughter of Jules Louis Audemars, is at the head of the Executive Board.
The brand is present in 88 countries and employs 1600 people, including 1000 of them in Switzerland. The company manufactures an average of 40,000 pieces per year, all handmade.
Audemards Piguet called on the genius of an iconic designer, Gerald Genta, to create a watch that would become the spearhead of the brand in 1973. It is the famous Royal Oak.
Many models have been declined in, but the proposed model is very rare and superb, it is a model designed in the image of the Eurocopter company, subsidiary of Airbus Group. It is the first manufacture of civil and military helicopters in the world. Eurocopter was founded in 1992.
It is a stainless steel barrel case of 39 mm diameter, topped by a screwed octagonal bezel. Silver guilloché dial with three-counters chronograph. Date window between 4 and 5. Mechanical self-winding movement.
This is a very fine limited edition of the legendary Royal Oak.
Proposed with its original box and papers, a full set not to be missed.
