The “Crash” model was launched at the end of 1967 by Cartier, in London, at the company’s flagship on Bond Street.
It is the most iconic wristwatch made by Cartier, due to the unique asymmetrical design of its case, which immediately brings to mind Salvador Dali’s surrealist painting “Persistance de la mémoire”. Sold exclusively in Cartier boutiques, only around twenty original watches of this model are known, with dials signed “Cartier/London”.
The reference 4127 we are offering is being launched in 2019 to mark the reopening of the boutique on Bond Street in London and sold exclusively in this boutique.
