Military’s watch are designed to meet specific conditions for field action.
Heuer, a great specialist in chronographs for pilots, such as the mythical Carrera, Autavia, Monaco and Daytona. He thinks of a military staffing watch for the German Air Force “the Bundeswehr”.
To escape the radium (decreed dangerous material) which illuminates the dials, the engineers use the tritium, non-radioactive. Hence the symbol 3H, written in red on the dial. 3H is the hydrogen atom with 3 isotopes: the protium, the denturium and the tritium.
4 models of dials are available: 3H only in red near center, classic 3H / T symbol 3H near center and T near 6, T alone near 6, neutral no writing.
A case of 43 mn diameter, with 4 bottom case screws allow to fix, case, movement and plexi to ensure sealing. A wide epoxy bezel graduated 60 min is rotating.

The caliber is manual winding, the Valjoux 230, column wheels with “flyback” function. 17 jewels, 18,000 A / H.
