The first automatic watch with built-in alarm. Created in 1956, the Memovox, literally “the way of memory”, is a legend. At the heart of the movement is a complex system: a tiny hammer strikes a needle welded inside the caseback, causing it to vibrate. It chimes on demand, thanks to a rotating disc in the center of the dial, for your appointments or alarm clock.
This is a rare model. Black dial with applied hour markers. Leaf hands and central second hand. Date window at 3 o’clock. Very interesting Gay & Frères bracelet signed Jaeger Lecoultre. The movement is mechanical with automatic winding.
