Many of us were influenced in our youth by James Bond, through his watches which have become iconic and legendary. Notably the fabulous Submariner. The model 5513 was launched in 1962. It is the evolution of the 6538 and 5512 references. The 5513 is produced in different versions. The Submariner is the essential diver’s watch used and worn by the undisputed masters of scuba diving. This tool watch is also very appreciated by the general public.
The model presented here is a 5513 meter first from 1969 in a perfect condition. It is a 40 mm diameter round stainless steel case, with a 60 mn graduated bezel to calculate dive and decompression times. Beautiful black dial with painted indexes, Mercedes hands and central second hand. Self-winding mechanical movement with automatic winding.
